Please follow this step by step guide to setting up your 2 Factor Authentication for Wordfence on your site.
- Once logged into WordPress, you will be taken to your dashboard. Click on Users from the menu on the left.
- Click on Profile.
- On the Profile page, scroll to the bottom to find 2FA Status. Click 'Activate 2FA'.
- Copy or scan the QR code.
- Open your authenticator app such as Authy or Google Authenticator. Click on the plus sign to add a new account.
- Paste the QR code from your site.
- Click add account.
- Choose your colour.
- Enter the new account name ie Wordfence.
- Click save.
- Your authenticator will create a code.
- Enter the code provided by your authenticator.
- Next, click 'Activate'.
- Log Out.
- Then log back in to your dashboard.
